Mentoring and ImpleMenting cities have been working together since the visits on roadmaps for change in the ImpleMenting cities. Many actions have already taken place over the last few months and the roadmaps are still being refined in constant dialogue between the mentors, mentees and facilitators.
The next phase of the project will consist of four cluster meetings in February and March 2014
- Cluster A (Enancing public perception of migration and integration) in GENOA on 20 & 21 March, with Genoa, Riga, Tampere & Lublin.
- Cluster B (Managing diversity and promoting equality in cities’ administration and service provision) in MANCHESTER with Manchester, Copenhagen, Tampere and Oslo
- Cluster C (Making participation effective in diverse neighbourhoods) in MALMÖ on 11 & 12 March with Malmö, Rotterdam, Ghent, Athens, Amsterdam & Dublin
- Cluster D (Engagement in local policy-making processes and political participation of migrant communities) in OSLO on 11 & 12 February with Oslo, Genoa, Milan and Athens
During these visits, the mentor cities will give some inspiration to the implementing cities by presenting their best practices and allowing space for dialogue with political representatives, NGOs and other stakeholders. The visits wlll be concluded by a finalisation of the roadmaps.
The ImpleMentoring project will end on 14 May 2014
